RRHS Named a Top Global Learning School for 2016

Rocky River High School has been named a Top Global Learning School for 2016. This award is presented to 76 schools nationwide who have demonstrated their dedication to fostering global citizenship through intercultural education.

This award is given by AFS International in partnership with The National Society of High School Scholars, an international honor society dedicated to highlighting the accomplishments of high-achieving students. For 58 years, AFS has been active in Rocky River in both hosting exchange students and encouraging our students to study abroad.

Andrea Reynolds, AFS Advisor, was excited to receive the award. "Having been involved with AFS for the last 10 years as a volunteer and advisor, I can attest to our community’s welcoming of our exchange students and encouragement of our students to see the world. It is wonderful to be recognized for our dedication to global education."

The award also enables RRHS students to apply for the Top Global Learning Schools Scholarship to study abroad.
