ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (April 9, 2024) -- Rocky River cruised to a 20-4 win over Westlake in Tuesday Northern Ohio Lacrosse League action.

The Pirates (6-0, 4-0 NOLL) scored the first nine goals of the game -- all in the first eight minutes of play -- and would go on to spiral their lead into running-clock territory while scoring 20 goals for a third time in their last four games. The Ten-Point Tisler Sisters filed a combined nine goals and one assist: senior Alexis Tisler had six goals; sophomore Addie Tisler registered three goals and an assist. They were the lead edge of a Buccaneer sword that cut its way to quarter-by-quarter goal counts of 11, four, four, and one. And 13 different players found the back of the net.

River's other top scorer on a balmy, breezy evening at Rocky River Stadium were Mackenzie Russell (2G, 3A), Grace DeWitt (3G), and Elle Mocho (3G).

With their combined nine goals and assist Tuesday, the Tisler sisters have now ledgered double-digit point totals in four consecutive games. Alexis Tisler's fifth goal against the Demons (2-4, 0-3) marked her 20th of the season.

The Pirates will look to continue their season-opening win streak Thursday when they visit Hathaway Brown.
