ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Each month during the 2023-2024 school year, the Rocky River City School District will highlight a member of the senior class who is in the West Shore Career Technical District program to showcase pathways and possible careers.
For the month of February, we are featuring Krista Ehrman, who is in the Medical Office Management program.
Krista began looking into the program during her freshman year at RRHS. She thought it would be a great opportunity to learn more about the medical field and get a head start on her education in the medical field.
Krista recommends that students participate in West Shore because it is a great way to figure out what you want to do with your life. The programs provide an opportunity to see if you would like to pursue that program, or decide if the contents of a particular program are not for you.
At West Shore, Krista enjoys using different program to help get different certifications. She also enjoys the small class size because it gives everyone a chance to get to know each other very well. This helps make it easier to get help or do group activities because everyone in the class knows each other.
After high school, Krista is planning to attend college and then become a nurse or surgeon.
