February 21, 2024

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Scott Raiff, who has served as the interim principal at Kensington Intermediate School since July, is assuming the leadership position on a permanent basis. The Board of Education unanimously approved the recommendation at the Board business meeting on February 15.

“We are extremely grateful to Mr. Raiff and the outstanding job he has done in leading Kensington,” Superintendent Michael Shoaf said. “We are fortunate to have an educator of his caliber to continue leading Kensington in a positive direction.”

Prior to arriving at Kensington, Raiff served as the principal of St. Christopher School in Rocky River for seven years before retiring in 2022. He also held teaching and leadership roles in Mentor Public Schools from 1985-2015 and was a substitute teacher in Cuyahoga County following his retirement from St. Christopher.

Raiff has also served as the head coach of the Rocky River High School boys tennis team since 2021.
