ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- The Double-R dropped back-to-back games on Thursday and Friday. Rocky River lost a Great Lakes Conference crossover game to Holy Name Thursday and then fell to Olmsted Falls in a non-conference affair on Friday.

The Pirates lost Thursday's game 11-1. They were held to one hit in a five-inning, run-rule contest. River was outhit 12-3 in 14-2 setback -- in another five-frame contest -- on Friday. Four Pirate errors led to five unearned runs in that ballgame.
