ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- Rocky River was swept in a pair of Great Lakes Conference West Division games Monday at Pirate Field. The Elyria Catholic Panthers won by by scores of 11-1 and 12-1.

The Pirates (7-10, 4-6 GLC West) were outhit 18-3 over the two games. The Panthers scored in 9-of-9 innings over the twin run-rule affairs.

Katie Mommers went a combined 2-of-5 with a double. Colleen Meese and Mommers were River's pitchers over the twin bill.

EC batters collected seven extra-base hits on the day.
