RRMS Team Earns Trip to DI Globals

Rocky River Middle School Destination Imagination Team Techno Bunnies earned a trip to DI Globals! At the state tournament on April 7, the team took third place for their service learning challenge “Ready Willing & Fable”. The team was challenged to identify, design, plan and carry out a project that addresses a real community need. Then, they had to create a live presentation of a team-created fable that integrated information about the project. Special thanks goes out to the RRMS students who helped the Techno Bunnies collect needed supplies for the Lakewood Animal Shelter.

The team will move on to DI Globals in Knoxville, TN in May where they will compete against teams from the US and 15 other countries. The global event brings together 17,000 competitors, appraisers, and spectators and is sponsored by companies such as 3M, Disney and Motorola.
