AVON LAKE, Ohio -- Seven Rocky River players found the back of the net in a 12-6 Northern Ohio Lacrosse League victory over Avon Lake on Tuesday evening. The Pirates (5-1, 3-1 NOLL) scored the first six goals of the game and went on to claim their fourth consecutive victory.

Solid work on the draw by Ella Nejad and aggressive field play by Iris Polly keyed the River road win. Nejad (goal, two assists) and Polly (two goals, assist) were two of four Pirates to log multi-point games for a Pirate offense which has now score a dozen or more goals in three straight contests. Olivia Konopka registered four goals and one assist; Grace Harte added two goals.

The Maroon & White are scheduled to play a non-conference home game Thursday (Hathaway Brown, 7:30 p.m.).
