CLEVELAND (Sept. 20, 2022) -- Rocky River earned a 184-207 victory over Bay in a Tuesday afternoon Lake Erie Girls Golf Association match at Little Met Golf Course.
Nora Sheridan (43) and Chloe Holton (44) paced River in the 23-stroke victory, and the Maroon & White upped their home-course mark to 10-0. With the victory, Rocky River -- the runner-up in the
Sept. 8 LEGGA Tournament -- clinched a regular-season LEGGA title.
The Pirates (16-0, 9-0 LEGGA) are scheduled to take on Westlake and Fairview in a Wednesday tri-match at Avon Oaks Country Club in Avon, Ohio. Westlake is a circuit foe, but no LEGGA team can catch the Pirates with their current record.
