AVON, Ohio (Sept. 5, 2023) -- Only the thermometer could challenge hot hot this Pirate Girls Golf team is. On Tuesday, Rocky River downed Lake Erie Girls Golf Association foe Bay 179-197 at Sweetbrier Golf Club.
The triumph at sweltering Sweetbrier kept the Pirates undefeated on the season. Rocky River (10-0, 7-0 LEGGA) was paced by Mia Ginnetti (38) and Chloe Holton (40) in the decisive win.
River will be at Sweetbrier again Wednesday when the Buccaneers tangle with Avon Lake and Strongsville in a tri-match,
