FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio (Sept. 18, 2023) -- Rocky River swept a Lake Erie Girls Golf Association tri-match against Fairview and North Olmsted Monday.
The Pirates (16-1, 11-0) -- which won Thursday's LEGGA Tournament and have already clinched a league title -- fired a four-man score of 208. That bested the Warriors, who were down a player and unable to post a score, and the Eagles, who carded a 221.
Scoring for the Pirates were Mia Ginnetti (48), Julia Schmid (49), Ava Mae DeMooy (52), and Addison Crane-Sienna DeMooy (59). The match was contested on the 2,734-yard, par-36 outward nine at Big Met Golf Course.
River is scheduled to close out its LEGGA slate with a Wednesday home match (Big Met) against Westlake.
