ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Each year, the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation seeks nomination from school districts to honor and recognized educations who have earned deep respect from students and colleagues, remain intellectually alive, demonstrate leadership in their respective fields and serve as a model of excellence for the teaching profession.
This year, the Rocky River City School District is excited to have two finalists for these prestigious awards. Goldwood Primary School 2nd grade teacher Jody Zellers is a finalist for George B. Chapman, Jr. Mathematics Teaching Award, while Rocky River High School Science teacher Brian Frew is a finalist for the Arthur S. Holden Science Teaching Award.
