RRMS Students and Staff Cap Kick-it with Kickball Games
October 3, 2022

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio - Students and staff at Rocky River Middle School raised $9,600 during Kick-it, a program of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) to help raise money for childhood cancer research. Founded in 2009 by a 10-year old cancer patient from Northeast Ohio, Kick-it is a national volunteer-driven effort focused solely on raising money for childhood cancer research. Alex came up with a plan to raise money for childhood cancer through his favorite game, kickball. Led by Tony Ramirez and Joyce Lampp, the RRMS campaign goal was $7,500 and the generous donations helped surpass that goal. On Friday afternoon, students and staff gathered outside to play Alex's favorite game.
