ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – All Rocky River families are invited to a Meet and Greet with new Kensington Intermediate School (KIS) Principal Heath Horton on Monday, August 16 from 5:00-6:00pm in the KIS Commons.
Horton has served as an assistant principal at Rocky River High School for the last four years and has more than 15 years of administrative and teaching experience. Prior to serving at RRHS, Horton was an assistant principal at Brooklyn High School from 2012-2017 and was a Language Arts teacher in the South Euclid/Lyndhurst City Schools from 2006-2012.
Horton earned his Bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education from Kent State University and his Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University. Horton holds his Superintendent’s License from Cleveland State University and is currently working toward his Doctorate in Educational Administration from The University of Findlay.
