RRMS Kicking-it for Childhood Cancer
September 13, 2021

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio - Rocky River Middle School is taking part in Kick-It, a program of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), to help raise money for childhood cancer research. Founded in 2009 by a 10-year old cancer patient from Northeast Ohio who came up with a plan to raise money for childhood cancer through his favorite game, kickball, Kick-It is a national volunteer-driven effort focused solely on raising money for childhood cancer research. With the help of schools like RRMS, over 6 million dollars has been raised for children's cancer research.

RRMS will be raising funds for childhood cancer research from September 15 through September 24 and every dollar raised will more a difference as more research equals more lives saved! Please help join RRMS in the fight against childhood cancer by donating online at the RRMS Kick-It webpage here.

RRMS students and staff will celebrate by playing kickball in honor of Alex on September 24.
