ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Julia Finley
Mosca, author of The Amazing Scientists series and a Rocky River resident,
visited Goldwood Primary School and Kensington Intermediate School this week as
part of the Great Kindness Challenge.
Mosca spent time at Goldwood on Tuesday and
was spoke with students at Kensington on Friday.
After a brief introduction, Finley Mosca read her book, “The Girl Who Thought in Pictures: The Story of Dr. Temple
Grandin” as it was projected on a screen for students to follow along.
Every student in Kindergarten through Grade 5 received an autographed copy of Finley Mosca’s book The Girl Who Thought in Pictures: The Story of Dr. Temple
Grandin, thanks to a grant from the Rocky River Education Foundation.

book in a new educational series about the inspirational lives of amazing
scientists.
