ROCKY RIVER, Ohio - Rocky River Middle School was the sight of a tree root demonstration on Tuesday morning for officials from the City of Rocky River and Busy Bee Services.
The demonstration, which was free and open to the public, featured air excavation for evaluating tree root structures and conditions. Those in attendance learned from ISA Certified Arborist, Mark Hoenigman and Rocky River City ISA Certified Arborist and Service Commissioner, Rich Snyder
The two talked about and demonstrated how air pressure can safely remove soil around a tree root system in order to better understand the health and condition of trees.
