ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- The Rocky River Pirates defeated Normandy, 5-0, to remain unbeaten in Great Lakes Conference play.
The River Racket-eers swept singles play in 6-0, 6-0 fashion across the board and would lose just two games in doubles action. Singles winners were Samantha Robertson (first), Becca Krebs (second), and Makenzie Runyon (third). River's doubles tandems were Caitlin Kelly/Maire Kate Hickey and Scout Hahn/Hannah Burgess.
The victory at Tri-City Park snapped a three-match losing skid for the Pirates (5-5, 4-0 GLC).
