ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Six
students from Rocky River High School have been selected to participate in the
Ohio Music Education Association District IV & VII Honors Choir.
The
event will take place from November 14-16 at Cleveland State University and
RRHS will be represented by Michael Esdon, London Golya, Abigail Pepp, Alison
Ritvo, Gretchen Suriano, and Kenton While.
The purpose of the Honors Choir is to
provide an exceptional musical experience for a select group of students who were
chosen from choirs across Northeast Ohio.
Students will rehearse together on Thursday and Friday before the concert on Saturday in CSU’s Waetjen Auditorium. The Honor Choir will be conducted by Dr. Allyss Haecker.
The vocal concert
will begin at 2:30pm.
