LAKEWOOD, Ohio – Rocky River closed out its regular season with a 1-0 loss at Lakewood on Saturday.
The loss in the annual Riverwood Cup game with the Rangers
marked an end to a four-game unbeaten streak (3-0-1) for the Pirates. For
Lakewood (9-5-2), the victory continued an unbeaten streak. The Rangers are now
5-0-1 over their last six.
Rocky River (9-5-2) is now bound for district tournament
play.
