The Rocky River boys placed 12th in a field of more than 20 teams. Luke Kishna (16:38.02 – 15th) and Guillaume Carroll (16:58.63 – 29th) were River’s top finishers in a field of over 200 runners. The boys’ squad scored 365 points.
The Pirate girls placed 10th in a field of more than 20 teams. Samantha Coleman was River’s top runner. Colemen carded a personal-best time of 19:01.68 in placing eighth. The Pirates posted a team total of 300.
Woodridge won Saturday’s boys’ meet; Medina won on the girls’ side.
The Pirates are slated to run in the Great Lakes
Championships next Saturday, Oct. 12.
