SOLON, Ohio (Oct. 5, 2024) -- Rocky River rode three Sophia Sindelar goals, all scored in the game's first half, to a 3-1 victory at Solon Saturday.
Sindelar's 29th, 30th, and 31st goals of the season were the only scores of the first half. Ava Benavides would log the Comets' lone tally in the second, but the home side would get no closer with Caitlin Rose logging six saves in the non-conference affair.
Addie Russell, Piper Tovissi, and Rori Vesy had assists in the game, with Vesy collecting two.
Solon (10-4) had won four of its previous five games and had allowed more-than-two goals in just one other match this season (3-1 loss to Brecksville Sept. 18).
The Pirates (13-0-1) will return home for a Monday non-conference match against Beaumont (7 p.m.).
