RRCSD Enhances School Safety Measures
March 4, 2025

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – The Rocky River City School District (RRCSD) is taking additional steps in its commitment to school safety by implementing two new security measures throughout the district: CENTEGIX and ZeroEyes. These advanced systems will enhance the district’s ability to address potential threats and improve emergency response times.

CENTEGIX, a crisis alert system, equips staff with wearable badges that can instantly notify administrators, School Resource Officers and local first responders of an emergency situation. With the push of a button, alerts are immediately communicated, ensuring rapid response times and streamlining coordination during critical incidents. The badge can be used for everything from calling for help to everyday events such as medical emergencies or student altercations, to initiating building-wide lockdowns.

ZeroEyes is an AI-based gun detection platform that integrates with existing security cameras to identify firearms and alert first responders within seconds. This technology will provide an additional layer of security by enabling school officials and local law enforcement to react swiftly in the event of a potential threat.

“The safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority,” said RRCSD Interim Superintendent Elizabeth Anderson. “By integrating Centegix and ZeroEyes into our security protocols, we are taking proactive steps to ensure a safe learning environment for everyone in our district.”
