ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Fresh off an outstanding performance of Bright Star, the Rocky River High School Drama Department has earned seven nominations in the 2023 Dazzle Awards, which will be presented on May 20 at 7:30pm in the KeyBank State Theatre.

RRHS is nominated in the categories of Best Technical Execution, Best Ensemble/Chorus, Best Costume Design, Best Scenic Design, Best Choreography Execution, Best Supporting Actor (Jack Lange who played Daryl Ames) and Best Musical (Tier 1).
RRHS has won the Best Musical (Tier 1) award all five times it has been presented for its performances of Young Frankenstein (2022) Singin’ in the Rain (2019), Monty Python’s Spamalot (2018), Legally Blonde (2017) and Catch Me If You Can (2016).
The Dazzle Awards presented by Patricia and John Chapman recognizes the most talented high school performers in Northeast Ohio. The awards ceremony and showcase in the culmination of the annual Dazzle Awards program. A panel of judges attend one production at each participating school, provide feedback and determine nominees and awards for participating schools.
