RRCSD Taking Part in Say Something Week from March 3-7

February 11, 2025

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – The Rocky River City School District will take part in Say Something Week from March 3-7. The district-wide initiative is aligned with the Sandy Hook Promise and promotes empathy, relationship skills and responsible decision-making. Its focus is to empower students to ‘Say Something’ when they know a student may be in danger of hurting themselves or others.

The week-long event features important information and activities to create a culture to prevent school violence by sharing information on how to look for warning signs of someone at-risk of hurting themselves or others and how to tell a trusted adult to get help. Information about Say Something Week will be promoted through school announcements and teacher classrooms.

Say Something Week is one of several programs that the RRCSD counseling department promotes throughout the year, including Start with Hello Week, Red Ribbon Week and the Great Kindness Challenge.
