ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – The Rocky River High School Robotics team recently concluded its 2024-2025 season. The program featured two teams: 44116A, which was comprised of four seniors, and 44116B, which had four sophomores.
Throughout the season, both teams competed in three events, with a highlight being their combined playoff appearance at the Elyria event when 44116A selected 44116B as their partner. Additionally, 44116A earned the Sportsmanship Award at the Elyria competition, marking the first award the program has won since transitioning to VEX competitions.
The Robotics program concluded the season by hosting its inaugural Open House, welcoming a great turnout from the community. Students and families from Goldwood, Kensington, and Rocky River Middle School attended, offering younger students a glimpse into the exciting world of robotics and the program’s achievements.
