RRHS Key Club Holding Food Drive and Blood Drive

October 19, 2021

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – The Rocky River High School Key Club is partnering with the Rocky River Assistance Program (RRAP) throughout the month of October for a food drive and will also work with the Red Cross to conduct a Blood Drive on November 19.

The RRAP is staffed solely by volunteers and is a community resource that supplies residents in need with food, personal care, and household items every other month. The Key Club has placed bins in all English classrooms to collect the most needed items at the RRAP, including rice, tomatoes, canned fruit, ramen and baking items.

The Blood Drive is run annually in the fall and open to students ages 16-18. Students who are 16 or 17 years old must have a parent waiver signed to donate. Waivers are available from Key Club advisors Kate Hamm or Sarah Powers.
