LATEST NEWS

The 2022 State of the Schools was hosted by the Rotary Club of Lakewood/Rocky River on January 10.

 

The RRCSD will host Kindergarten Information Night at Goldwood Primary School on January 27 from 4:30-6:30pm. The event will feature an Open House and in-person self-guided tours. A virtual presentation will be posted online.

 

Thirteen Rocky River High School (RRHS) students combined to earn 20 awards in the prestigious Scholastic Art & Writing Awards regional contest. The group combined to receive six Gold Awards, three Silver Awards and 11 Honorable Mention Awards. Gold Key winners move on to national judging. 

 

Applications for the 13 West Shore Career Technical programs are being accepted now through March 1. The West Shore Career Technical Center has built several tools to help provide families with the information they need when considering West Shore, including a website that provides information.

 

The RRCSD Board of Education Organizational and Committee-of-the-Whole Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 12. The meeting begins at 4:00pm at 1101 Morewood Parkway. Board agendas, minutes and updates are available on the BOE webpage.

 

The Rocky River City School District will join other schools and districts around the country in recognizing the importance of creating a culture of kindness at school by taking part in the Great Kindness Challenge from January 24-28, 2022. 

 

Looking for new wallpaper for your computer? Save the January image on your computer to make it your new wallpaper. The RRCSD will have a new Wallpaper Wednesday each month throughout the 2021-2022 school year.

 

The RRCSD COVID-19 online dashboard details new and confirmed cases throughout the district and also has daily quarantine numbers and other important information for the 2021-2022 school year.
