AVON, Ohio – Rocky River won its fourth consecutive Lake Erie Girls Golf Association title by winning the conference tournament at Legacy Golf Club on Wednesday.
The Pirates scored a 400 on the 4,831-yard track in Avon.
That total was 23 strokes clear of second-place Columbia (423).
River’s Kate McKeown won tournament medalist honors with a 41-53—94. Ciara Grieve (49-49—98) and Lexi Aguilar (49-54—103) earned First Team All-LEGGA finishes with their scores. The Pirates’ fourth score was carded by Rachel Baird (51-54—105).
The Pirates went 8-0 over eight LEGGA regular-season matches.
