ROCKY RIVER, Ohio - The Rocky River HS varsity football team is among 96 teams in the state of Ohio to be named an Academic All-Ohio team for this season, ranking second overall in the entire state for highest grade point average.

 

For ranking among the top-six teams in the state, the Pirates will receive a plaque, a team picture in the OHSFCA program and a pizza party.

 

In addition, two RRHS seniors - Michael Finnegan and Michael Shoaf - were named to the OHSFCA All-Academic team. 

 

The Ohio High School Football Coaches Association (OHSFCA) honors teams and individuals each year for their academic successes.
