ROCKY RIVER, Ohio - Joshua O'Halla, a 2020 graduate of Rocky River High School, has been selected as one of five national finalists for the 2020 Stuck at Prom Scholarship Contest. Stuck at Prom is an annual scholarship contest organized by Duck Brand where contestants have to create either a prom dress or a tuxedo using duct tape.

This is the 20th year of the competition in which students where their designs to prom. This year, however, students showcased their creations virtually.

O'Halla, who plans to study Mechanical Engineering at Ohio State, used 20 rolls of duct tape and spent 96 hours creating his tuxedo. His inspiration was to celebrate summer memories growing up on Lake Erie. To see pictures of O'Hallas tuxedo and read more about his inspiration behind it, please click here
