ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- The Pirates prevailed in a three-way hometown tussle at Westwood Country Club, as Rocky River turned aside St. Joseph and Bay on Thursday afternoon.

Rocky River (11-2) carded a team score of 195; that was low enough to edge the Jaguars (200) and Rockets (218) on the C.H. Alison track just down the road from RRHS. Kate McKeown carded a a team-best 40 on the day. She was followed on the match score sheet by Ciara Grieve (48), Chloe Holton (52), and Lauren Solecki (55).

The match spelled a successful an end to River's regular season. Next up for the Pirates is sectional tournament play on Oct. 6 (Sweetbriar Golf Club).
