RRCSD Science Olympiad Teams Qualify for State Tournament

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – The Rocky River City School District Science Olympiad teams competed at the virtual regional tournament on March 6. Results from the tournament were announced over the weekend and both the Rocky River High School Division C team and the Rocky River Middle School and 9^th grade Division B team have qualified for the state tournament.

The Division C team finished 12^th overall at the regional competition, while the Division B team placed 10^th overall. To view the virtual awards ceremony from the regional competition, please click here.

This year’s state tournament will be conducted virtually on April 10.

The mission of Science Olympiad is to inspire student interest in science outside of the school curriculum through active, hands-on participation in and exposure to STEM disciplines.
