ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – The Rocky River City School District will join other schools and districts around the country in recognizing the importance of creating a culture of kindness at school by taking part in the Great Kindness Challenge from January 25-29, 2021.
The Great Kindness Challenge aims to empower students, parents, families, teachers, staff, and the community to create a culture of kindness. While each school will continue to encourage kindness during the week, there are also several district-wide initiatives during the week.

Do Something Kind for a Family member (Help out at home)
Tuesday, January 26
Talk to Someone Tuesday (Talk to someone new at school today)
Wednesday, January 27
Kind Word Wednesday (Compliment 5 people)
Thursday, January 28
Thankful Thursday (Show gratitude to 1 person who has helped you)
Friday, January 29
Don’t Forget About You Friday (Do something to take care of your mental, emotional and physical health)
