Goldwood Primary PTA Fall Fundraiser with Charleston Wrap runs from September 25th-October 8th and we need your support! The success of this fundraiser is critical and provides funds for the year for our PTA sponsored activities for the Goldwood students. These activities enhance the experience and education of the entire student body. The funds raised will be used for our assemblies, teacher and staff grants, staff appreciation events, field trips, playground equipment and so much more! We encourage all families to participate.

Square 1 Art

Square 1 Art Every 2 years, Goldwood students collaborate with Mr. Rocco to create a masterpiece that can be treasured forever. All students will be receiving a personalized order packet that showcases their original art work. You will be able to purchase a variety of items with your child's artwork. You can check out to get an idea of what you will be able to order. Some examples include: stationary, cards, coffee mugs, jewelry, phone cases, and many more items! You will be able to order online or send in a paper/check order form. Once you receive your child's order packet... DON'T DELAY!!! The order process will only be open for 2 weeks as all orders are DUE NOVEMBER 20TH. All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit The Goldwood Garden. Your art work will be sent home with your child the week of December 7th- just in time for unique and meaningful holiday gift giving. Box Tops Contest

Fall Box Tops contest! Return your Box Tops to your classroom collection bag by Wednesday October 24th. The classroom who collects the most Box Tops during this contest will win a free delicious cookie from Blackbird Baking Company and will be able to display the Box Tops trophy in their classroom!  


PTA membership, Chicken Tender Day, and Pizza Day registration

GPSPTA invites you to become a member. PTA provides many important and fun events to all our children. When you become a member, your support will help us to continue to provide unique experiences to the students of Goldwood.                                                                                                                                                                       Join in on the fun and sign up for Pizza Day and Chicken Tender day!
Pizza Day lunch includes: 2 large slices of cheese pizza, salad with ranch dressing, apple slices (when available, otherwise carrots), fruit snacks and a bottle of water.
Chicken Tender Lunch includes: 2 chicken tenders, bag of potato chips, salad with ranch dressing, apple slices and a bottle of water.

Heinen's rewards will donate 1% of purchases to the GPS PTA, all you have to do is sign up! Go to the service desk at Heinen's and request that your rewards go to the Goldwood PTA or call 1-855-475-2300. Heinens rewards have to be signed up for every year.

Earning points is simple! With every scan of your registered Giant Eagle Advantage Card at the cash register, points are automatically credited to your selected school.

Don't forget to show your school pride by purchasing spirit wear! Plus your child can participate in wearing their school colors on special days at school. Connect for Kids September and Fall programs

  Our September Speaker Series, Solutions to Anger and Defiance, will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 6:30 pm at the Westlake Porter Public Library.

Connecting for Kids is a nonprofit with a mission to provide education and support to families with concerns about their child. We serve families in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties with children younger than 13 years of age. We offer:

Connecting for Kids is more than just "a group for special needs families." We welcome any family with a concern about their child. No concern is too big or too small.

All of our programming is provided at no cost to families and is funded by grants, fundraising and generous donations from our community.

Our October Elementary Experiences, Tech Tools for Learning, will be held on Saturday, October 20, at the Middleburg Heights Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library.

  • iPads will be used at the 1:00 pm session for children (ages 7-9).

  • Chromebooks will be used at the 2:30 pm session for students (ages 10-12).
