ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- The Pirates opened a back-to-back in fine fashion, as they turned aside the Louisville Leopards, 5-0, on Monday night.
Senior Sophia Murray and sophomore Maeve Kelly each scored twice as River took the front end of their Monday-Tuesday double. Kelly leads the team in goals this season with four through three games.
The Pirates (2-1) will travel to Byers Field in Parma for a Great Lakes Conference tilt on Tuesday.
