RRHS Students Compete at State OCTM Contest
A Rocky River High School team recently placed at the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics contest at Strongsville High School.

Twenty RRHS students competed against 72 teams from across the state, including public, private and home-schooled students in grades 9-12. RRHS placed 24th out of 72 teams statewide with a score of 98 points (11 points up from 2017). The top four student scores made up the school total – seniors Oleg Golev and Josiah Sawyer, and juniors Eaman Havemann and Charlotte Weizel.

OCTM promotes student interest in mathematics and recognizes outstanding students and high school math programs with monetary and achievement awards.
