MENTOR Ohio -- Emma Maher placed 15th in the balance beam in the
Northeast District Tournament and has qualified for the Ohio Gymnastics Championships.
The Pirate sophomore scored a 9.00 in the event at Saturday's district event at Mentor High School. Maher will compete in the state championships at Hilliard Bradley High School in Hilliard, Ohio. That meet will be held Friday-Saturday.
