The 63rd annual All Schools Band Festival will be held on Saturday, May 10th. This concert will be different from the previous All Schools Concerts.Instead of one concert featuring all RRCS concert bands back-to-back, we will be instituting a progressive concert much like many of our neighboring districts. All concert bands will be in the RRHS auditorium and all Jazz Bands will be in the RRHS commons. The schedule is as follows:- RRHS Friday Jazz -- 2:00
- 6th Grade Band -- 2:25
- 8th Grade Band -- 2:50
- RRHS Jazz Ensemble -- 3:15
- 7th Grade Band -- 3:40
- RRHS Concert Band -- 4:05
- RRMS Jazz Band -- 4:35
- KIS 4th Grade Recorders -- 5:00
- KIS 5th Grade Band -- 5:10
- RRHS Wind Ensemble -- 5:25
This concert will allow us to feature all RRCS instrumental performing groups in a casual environment that allows all students/parents to see the performing groups of their choice. CDs will be made, concessions will be sold throughout the day, the bands will be running our annual mattress sale in the Wagar Gym, and Rettig Music will be sponsoring an "instrument petting zoo" for younger kids interested in trying the instruments.
