Out of 1,784 entries, Kensington 5th grader Charlie Movius placed third in the state of Ohio in the Letters About Literature Contest sponsored by the Library of Congress and the Ohio Center for the Book.
At the Letters about Literature Award Ceremony held on May 2, 2015, at the Cleveland Public Library, Charlie was awarded $50 for his letter to author Laura Hillenbrand about how her book Unbroken changed his world view.
