Goldwood’s new “Buddy Bench” has arrived from Toronto thanks to the PTA and the Quaiser family. It will be placed on our new playground when it is complete. The organization we received it from is called Kill it with Kindness. It was started by two sisters who’s goal is to promote bully-free school environments. The bench is a tool to encourage conflict resolution, friendship and inclusion. We are the first international school to receive a bench from them!!!!
Our plan is to have a school-wide Skype conference with Kill it With Kindness representatives to train students on how to utilize the bench. More information will be coming home soon!
