RRHS Chorale & Treble Ensemble Perform at OMEA

The RRHS Chorale performed on Friday, April 29 at the Ohio Music Education Association high school state contest and received a Superior (1) rating. The RRHS Treble Ensemble performed on Saturday April 30 and received an Excellent (2) rating.

Both ensembles compete OMEA Class A, which is the second-highest possible class. Both groups were directed by Ms. Allison Paetz and accompanied by Mr. Gary Richards. Chorale performed in English and Latin, and Treble Ensemble performed in English, Latin, German, and Bulgarian.

High school students interested in joining either group for the 2016-2017 school year should contact Ms. Paetz to schedule an audition as soon as possible ([email protected]).

You can hear both groups perform again this year at the RRHS Pops Concert, Thursday, June 2 and Friday, June 3 at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5 for adults (seniors, under 5, and booster card holders admitted free) and are available at the door.
