“We are really excited to play again in the next round, and play with more great bands that love music as much as we do,” said Ridzon.

Filler earned a spot in the finals during the third preliminary round on Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Rock Hall.  Fifty-one bands qualified for the Rock Off, and were assigned to compete against other bands in one of four preliminary rounds.  Three bands were selected from each round to play in the finals on Feb. 17, called the “Final Exam.”  The top band or artist will receive $1,000 in cash and $250 for their high school music program, along with opportunities to record and perform. Second prize is $250 in cash and $100 for their school. Third place is a $100 cash prize. For more information about the competition and tickets, see https://www.rockhall.com/high-school-rock.
