RRMS Lady Pirates Defeat Fairview 10-7

The RRMS Softball team defeated Fairview 10-7 to win their fourth straight game. The Lady Pirates used a fast start, timely extra base hits, aggressive base running, solid pitching and timely plays in the field to prevail in a very competitive game for both teams.Offensively Lindsay Hartman lead the Pirates with two triples in each of the first two innings, resulting in four runs. Emily Satayathum was on base three times and scored three runs. Defensively, Maggie Hill went the distance for the Pirates, pitching seven innings, while giving up 7 runs, 10 base hits, striking out seven and walking two. Key defensive plays were made by Olivia Konopka, Katie Mommers, Estella Giomini, Hill, Hartman and a game clinching catch in center field by Satayathum.
