Kensington Players Talent Show 2012
Auditions begin this week!
Auditions will be held after school
3rd grade= Tuesday, Jan 10
4th grade= Wednesday, Jan 11
5th grade= Thursday, Jan 12
 
Audition Info
For the day of auditions, please have:
  • Music on CD or MP3 player
  • Music does not have to be cut down for auditions but we will work with your child to get the music down to 2 minutes or less before rehearsals
  • Bring any props being used so they can be noted
  • No costumes are needed
  • Kids should bring their homework or a book to keep busy while they're waiting.
  • A small non-messy snack and a juice box/water is okay if they'll be staying for a while. 
  • Auditions are in the Kensington Gym.  Kids are expected to stay quiet so we can hear the audition acts and will not be allowed to run around school.
We plan to have all of the kids participate but reserve the right to request a change of music if it is judged inappropriate.
 
We will do our best to finish tryouts by 5:00.

We are excited about the number of kids participating but have more Acts than we would like to keep the shows shorter than 2 hours (almost 100 total to divide between the 2 Casts!!!).  If your child is participating but would be willing to combine with another child or group we would GREATLY appreciate it.

If your child has signed up but is still unsure of their act, we will be putting together a larger group number that we could have them participate in instead.  Let us know if this is an option for your child!
