Welcome Rocky River Middle School Parents!

My name is Ann Stemen and I am the president of the Rocky River Middle School PTA for 2011-2012.  I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the other members of the Executive Board.  Sandra Muny, last year’s president, will be serving as our vice president and Keli Asmar has taken on the important role of treasuerer.  Our board is completed with Beth Trudell as the recording secretary and Stacey Gerrity as the corresponding secretary.  The PTA Council delegates are Jenn Krebs, Maureen Ridzon, Lisa Kysela, Beth Hauck, and Lori Brant.  Please feel free to contact any of us with any questions or concerns.

We have many opportunities for parents to get involved in the middle school through the PTA.  There is a Volunteer Opportunities Form  that you can fill out to express where you are interested in getting involved.  The other way to get involved is by joining the Rocky River Middle School PTA.  The membership form is available, via hyperlink, to the right of this letter.  Even if you do not have time to spare, you can help our mission by joining the PTA.  

The meeting dates and times are also listed on this page.  Anyone is welcome to our meetings and they are held in the Teacher’s Lounge at the middle school.  

Our big fundraising event, Maroon & White Night, is being held on March 23, 2012.  Please mark it on your calendar.  The kids look forward to this event and it is our primary source of revenue for the year.  We need everyone’s help to make this night a success, whether you want to chair a committee or work a 2 hour shift…All hands on deck!  Maroon & White is always fun for both the students and the parents.
