RRMSPTA invites you to become a member!

PTA provides many important and fun events to all our children. When you become a member, your support will help us to continue to provide unique experiences to the students of RRMS.

New this year...

For your convenience, we are now offering the option to pay using our new on-line payment system. You may use your MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or PayPal account. You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to complete the transaction. *Note- There is a small processing fee for online payment ($0.53 individual/ $0.75 family/ $0.41 student directory)

Print your confirmation email and send it in with your check made payable to RRMSPTA. Include your student's name on the memo line. All payments must be received by SEPTEMBER 10 to ensure a speedy delivery of your student directory.

Click and Complete the Membership form. Choose your payment method and click "Submit".

Our organization is full of dedicated volunteers, committed to the excellence that makes Rocky River Middle School such a special place. Our main goal is to support the educational life and achievement of all our students. Parents, teachers, and administrators work together to make our children’s school experience the best it can possibly be. Please give some thought to donating your time and talents to this wonderful organization. We need many volunteers to continue to make each and every event a success. The PTA has supported your child’s education through field trips, assemblies, music, literature, arts, classroom equipment, and much, much more. The link for the Volunteer Opportunities form will be included in your Membership confirmation email and is also located on the Volunteer page of the website.

August News & Info (week #2)

Hello from RRMSPTA-

I hope that everyone has had a wonderful summer! I just have a few little notes to pass along...

Fee Collection days are coming up soon- Julie is in need of volunteers to work Fee Days at the Middle School on Tuesday, August 24 from 4:00-7:00 and Wednesday, August 25 from 9:00-2:00. The purpose of the event is to assist the Middle School staff with incoming student registration. Middle School students pick up their class schedule for the upcoming school year and make fee payments. The volunteers are divided into 3 tables, one for each grade. Volunteers are needed for both days, the majority of students come on the first day so, more volunteers are needed for Tuesday evening. If you are available please contact Julie Tucci- jtucci@davisyoung.com or complete the Volunteer Opportunities form below

Help Needed- There are several other committees that have events starting in September (Attendance, Clinic, Popcorn Fridays, Magazine Drive) that also need many volunteers. Some jobs that can be done in the evenings too! Please complete the RRMSPTA Volunteer Opportunities form using the link below, you will then be contacted by the committee chair person with more details.

We have exciting news... coming soon... A new membership form with the option to pay online- yeah!! Note- When you join RRMSPTA not only are you joining a wonderful organization and supporting your students and faculty, each paid membership also includes a copy of the 2010-2011 RRMSPTA Student Directory:) I will send out that link as soon as it's ready, hopefully within a few days! It will be posted on the website as well. (for those of you with younger children, GPS and KIS are also offering online payment options on Membership and Pizza forms:) *Those forms will be posted and links emailed after the teacher assignment packets have been mailed.

We will be switching over to our new email system starting next week- If you would like to continue to receive our newsletters and event updates please complete the Email Notification form today! If you aren't sure that you are on the new list, go ahead and fill it out again, I will delete any duplicate email addresses.

Hello Parents of the Rocky River Middle School

My name is Sandra Muny and I am the 2010-2011 Middle School PTA President. I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself and the incoming board for the upcoming school year. Julie Tucci will be the V.P. Karen Weger is repeating as Treasurer. Beth Trudell will be the Recording Secretary and Keli Asmar will be the Corresponding Secretary. The Council Delegates for next year are Jan Cook, Paige Farling, Jennifer Krebs, Anette Sullivan and Elise Ulchaker.

I realize that everyone’s schedule is extremely busy over the school year and I just want to say thank you to all the parents that volunteer their time throughout the year to make RRMS a great place for our children to learn and have fun at PTA sponsored school events.

Everyone’s help is appreciated. If there is an event for which you would like to take a lead role, please let me know. It takes many volunteers for each of these events to be a success.
