Dear Parents,

My name is Stephanie Lekas and I am so excited be the football, basketball, and competition cheerleading coach for Rocky River Middle School! This is my first year as a coach but I have a wide background in cheerleading as well as gymnastics.  In my past, I was a cheerleader for six years starting in seventh grade all through high school.  I was a three-year varsity cheerleader and also my senior year, when I was captain competed on an All-Star competitive cheerleading squad in addition to my schools competition squad traveling all over!  As for gymnastics, I was involved with this for about 10 years until I switched to cheerleading. -August 13, 2011- RRMS cheerleading car wash at Einsteins Bagels located on Detroit Road in Rocky River from 10 AM to 1 PM.

-Summer football practices will continue to be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6PM-8P.  Once school starts, they will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 6PM-7:30PM.

-Tumbling will continue to be on Sundays from 3PM-4PM at Infinity Athletics located in Avon Lake through August.  All cheerleaders are required to go. Starting the first week of September, tumbling will be on Thursdays from 5PM-6PM at Infinity.

-Competition practice will begin Sunday, September 4th.  Again as I have mentioned if you are on competition, you do not have to go to the Thursday tumbling class because tumbling is covered at competition practice.
