This 61-year tradition for Rocky River seniors takes place after the graduation ceremony on Friday, June 8, 2018, at the RRMS (from 11:00 pm until about 2:00 am). This event is for seniors only, as it is a special night of class memories. No guests are permitted. Adult family and friends may attend the community showing of our performance on TBD.

This light-hearted variety show consists of skits, music, videos, singing, dancing--all done by senior parents--to commemorate the seniors' years in RR schools. Each senior will receive a goody bag with snacks to enjoy during the show. After the show, a video montage of senior photos will be shown while guests enjoy snacks and beverages. The show is performed on the cafeteria stage. Graduates bring blankets and sleeping bags to ‘camp-out’ on the floor to watch the show.

The show is far from professional, but big on fun! Lots of volunteers are needed, both on-stage and behind the scenes, including stage crew, music editing, skit writers, performers and more! Show practices are typically held on Sunday afternoons mid February-May. It is a great bonding experience for senior parents.

EVERY PARENT is encouraged to participate in the parent parade that starts and ends the show, wearing the show T-shirt. Plus, it is a tradition that parents make a poster board with their student's picture and where they are going in the fall (college, school, or service) and walk with it in the show's finale. (The blank signs can be purchased from the after-grad parent committee) It is a moving and memorable way for parents and students to end graduation night.

Please remember, do not share information about the After-Grad Show with your senior.
We wish to surprise and delight them on
the night of the show!
