After-Graduation Show
The After-Graduation Show takes place after the graduation. It starts at about 11p.m. and lasts until approximately 3:30 a.m. Clean up takes about 2 hours or less if everyone stays to help. This event is a variety show consisting of skits, music, videos, singing, dancing (all done by senior parents). Next is an intermission with food service. This is followed by a video walk down memory lane in the form of a photo montage of our sons and daughters. All seniors are invited to attend this show. No guests are permitted and the admission is $30 per person.
The event takes place at RR Middle School in the cafeteria and gym. The show is performed on the cafeteria stage. Graduates are allowed to bring blankets and sleeping bags to ‘camp-out’ on the cafeteria floor and enjoy watching their parents put on this show that commemorates their high school memories. Lots of volunteers are needed for this show in a variety of ways. Each and every parent is invited and encouraged to be a part of the show, even if it is just at the beginning and/or the end. Your children will want to see you up on stage! It will be more fun than you think, and you will be so glad you participated.
